Visa

Participants from some non-EU countries may need visa to enter the European Union (see here for their list). For a list of states whose citizens are exempt from visa requirement see here.

 

Coming by plane

The Prague airport is located at the western end of the city, some 15 km from Prague center. The easiest way how to come from the Airport to the city center is to use city bus 119 from the Airport to Undergroud A-line (end-stop “Dejvicka”) and to continue by this underground line directly to the station “Muzeum”, which is located in the front of the Museum’s Old Building. Coming by train

Coming by car

Local transportation

Prague has a comprehensive network of public transportation consisting of three “metro” (underground, subway) lines, city busses, trams and city trains (S-Bahn). Single tickets or travel passes can be purchased at most newspaper stands and from the coin machines at metro stations or using SMS. For the current state of the traffic see here.
