CALL FOR PAPERS
Scientific program will consists of invited lectures and free communications (oral and poster presentations). Participants are invited to present scientific contributions related to the Symposium topics. Oral communication should not be longer than 15 minutes discussion including.
 
PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS FOR THE ABSTRACT BOOK
The abstracts and the program will be published in a special supplement to the Charles University Journal BIOMARKERS AND ENVIRONMENT.

All authors (lectures, posters) are asked to follow this instruction for preparation of abstract:

Title, authors and the address according to the following example:

Typing: 1,5 spaced, typeface: Arial or a similar type, 12 pt
The total length: 1 page (maximum 30 lines including the title)

Instructions for delivery of the abstract (use one of the two recommended ways):

  1. Deliver preferably your abstract by E-mail to the address: sternberg@conferencepartners.cz (use MS Word for Windows compatible with Microsoft Word 98 and higher).
  2. Send the original and one copy of the abstract along with the floppy disk 3,5‘‘ by mail to the address of the Symposium secretariat:
    (Conference Partners Prague, Sokolská 26, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic).
    The word processing format should be MS Word for Windows (compatible with Microsoft Word 98 and higher).
  3. Do not send your abstract by fax!
The abstract should be delivered along with the completed Registration Form and confirmation about the payment of the registration fee to the Symposium secretariat before April 30, 2004. Abstracts received without payment of the registration fee (or an information when the fee will be covered) will not be included in the Abstract book.

Receiving of the abstract will be confirmed by return E-mail.

For speakers, the following AV equipment will be available: an overhead projection, double slide projection, computer data projection (PC).

Authors of posters will have boards 1m high x 2m wide covered by a carpet to their disposal.
 
PROCEEDINGS
The Proceedings should be published in the journal TOXICOLOGY LETTERS (Elsevier), depending on the number of the selected papers and the interest of authors. The authors of selected papers will receive the invitation to publish their papers (lectures or posters) in the Proceedings together with the instruction for preparation of the manuscript. Manuscripts should be submitted at latest at the registration desk of the Symposium. Publication in the Proceedings will be charged by 50 EUR per manuscript.
