Accommodation for participants has been reserved at several hotels in Pilsen. Kindly note that capacities are limited and all requests will be considered in order of receipt. Requests received after May 31, 2004 can only be confirmed based on availability.

Reservations

To book any of the tours a filled in Accommodation Form should be sent by mail or by fax to the address of the Symposium secretariat. On-line electronic reservation is also available. Inscription of your credit card data through the internet is SSL certified.

HOTEL DEPOSITS

Reservations will be guaranteed only after receipt of the first night deposit. The balance of the hotel account has to be settled by June 15, 2004.

CANCELLATION FEES

Any cancellation must be notified in writing to the Symposium secretariat. The payment of accommodation will be refunded in accordance with the following cancellation fees: Cancellation within 30 – 22 days prior to arrival:   50 % of booking value Cancellation within 21 – 16 days prior to arrival:   70 % of booking value Cancellation within 15 –   0 days prior to arrival: 100 % of booking value

CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION

Your reservation will be confirmed upon the receipt of your completed Accommodation Form and the hotel deposit. The hotel voucher will be sent to you by airmail after receipt of the total amount. Any change of reservation should be made directly with the Symposium secretariat and not the hotels. For Pre– and Post– Symposium tourist activites, accommodation as well as Tours Program in Prague is available.

**** Panorama Hotel, V lomech 11, Plzeň

This is a modern recently build family hotel, easily reached from the Symposium venue (approx. 10–15 minutes walk or one tram station). It is located near the road to Karlovy Vary. All rooms have TV - sets, radio, telephone, refrigerator, minibar and bathroom. The hotel offers its guests sauna, fitness room, regeneration massages and guarded parking places.

*** Hotel Slovan, Smetanovy sady 1, 301 37 Plzeň

The hotel was built in the years 1890 - 1893. The front and the interiors are richly decorated with architectonic elements which create an unforgettable atmosphere. The hotel is located in the middle of a park in the central part of the town. Most historical monuments can be found in its immediate proximity. All rooms are equipped with complete facilities (showers or bathrooms, TV - sets, telephones). The hotel restaurant offers meals of the Czech and the international cuisine. Safe car parking is available in a closed courtyard. The Symposium venue can be reached in approx. 15–20 minutes by public transport (tram no. 4, direction Košutka) or in 10 minutes by car.

**+ CD Hotel, Karlovarská 83, Plzeň

This hotel is located on the road to Karlovy Vary, about 10 min. walk from the Šafránek Building – the Symposium venue. It is a modern building with double and single rooms equipped with radio, phone and bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant, garage and a large garden.

** Bolevecká, Bolevecká 32, Block L3 (Student Hostel)

This hostel is one of the University hostels. Accommodation has been reserved in Block No. L3. All rooms in the hostel are in apartments it means that every 2 double rooms (or double rooms single use) share WC, bathroom and a kitchenette. Each room has its own entry from the common lounge. Breakfast is served at the Šafránek Bulding (Symposium venue), which can be is easily reached by walk within 10–15 min.
