TRANSPORTATION
By Plane
The Ruzyně international airport is located 18 kilometres from the Prague Congress Centre. The centre can be reached by taxi, shuttle bus or public transport.

Municipal bus No. 119 connects the airport and the end station of the A metro line named Dejvická. It runs every 10 - 20 minutes. From Dejvická take the Skalka-bound service to the Muzeum stop, there change to line C, running in the direction of Háje. Get off at the Vyšehrad metro stop (it is the second stop after Muzeum). The Congress Centre is located right next to the metro stop. A combined bus-metro service will take you to the Congress Centre from the airport in about 45 minutes.

Providing you are taking taxi the journey will take you about 25-30 minutes and the orientation price is approx. 25-35 EUR (for example: AAA Taxi, or Taxi Praha, or Citytaxi)

By Bus
When you decide to arrive by bus, most of the Prague-bound international lines terminate at the Florenc station, which is about 10 minutes far away by metro. Get off at the Vyšehrad stop (it is the fourth stop from Florenc). The Congress Centre is located right next to the stop.

By Train
Having once arrived at the Prague Main Station (Hlavní nádraží), take metro from the Hlavní nádraží stop running in the direction of Háje. Get off at the Vyšehrad stop (it is the third stop from Hlavní nádraží). The Congress Centre is located right next to the stop.

Public Transport
Prague has a comprehensive network of the city transportation consisting of metro, trams and buses. Single tickets can be purchased at most newspaper stands and from coin machines at metro stations. At the registration desk, complete information including plans will be available. Delegates can also purchase their travel passes for 1, 3 or 7 days.
 
CAR RENTAL
Most major car rental companies (Hertz etc.) have offices in Prague. Detailed information is available at the symposium secretariat. We strictly recommend making reservations in advance. (Hertz or all on one site.) For Hertz car rental you can use this voucher. On the website "all on one site" please copy the web links to the car rentals into your web browser. The links on the airport web are not working correctly but the web addresses and contact informations are correct.
 
PARKING
The Prague Congress Center has its own parking place. The detailed information about the prices and the map how to get in you can find at this web site: http://www.kcp.cz/parking.php?lng=AN. The price for 24 hours parking for one car costs CZK 500 = approx. EUR 20.
 
CURRENCY
The official currency is Czech Crown (Kč). Present rate is approx. 24 CZK for 1 EUR. Major credit cards are accepted in many shops, restaurants and hotels. You can buy Czech Crowns at banks, ATM´s and other authorized money exchange offices. Traveller's cheques are acceptable only by leading banks.
 
OFFICIAL LETTER OF INVITATION
An official letter of invitation can be sent upon request. It must be understood that such a letter does not include financial support and the recipient is expected to register to the symposium.
 
VISAS
Participants from most European countries and the USA can enter the Czech Republic without a visa. Other participants are advised to check the requirements at the closest Embassy or Consulate of the Czech Republic and to make their own arrangements. INSURANCE
The Organizing Committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries or loss or damage of property belonging to symposium participants and accompanying persons. Kindly check your personal insurance.
 
ELECTRICITY
In the Czech Republic, the electricity supply is 220 V, 50 Hz.
